Terms of Service
simulated.be is a free, open poll that you can use without an account. These terms lay out the basic expectations both ways. They're short on purpose.
What you agree to by using the site
By voting, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't vote — but reading the results is fine and doesn't create any agreement.
Acceptable use
- You can vote honestly, as many times as you want. The site tracks your active vote, so spamming the same option doesn't stack.
- You may not attempt to abuse the system: scripted voting, DDoS, exploiting bugs to falsify counters, or any similar activity. If detected, we may block your IP range without notice.
- You may not use the site to distribute malware, phishing, or illegal content.
Intellectual property
The site's code, design, and content are ours (or open-source components under their respective licenses). You can share links and screenshots freely — it's a public poll, the more the better.
Aggregated vote data (e.g., “43% of voters in Germany said Yes”) is public information and you're welcome to quote it. Attribution appreciated but not required.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is. It's a fun project. The data might have bugs. The servers might be down. We don't promise uptime, accuracy, or that the simulation isn't.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operators of simulated.be shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the site.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Romanian courts.
